Unit system

Settings → Unit system switches the whole app between Metric and US. This is a display preference and nothing more. Brewgravity always stores kilograms, grams, litres, degrees Celsius, and minutes; the setting changes what you see and what you type into. Switching back and forth does not convert or damage anything, and the API always speaks metric regardless of what you have selected.

Display name

Your display name appears in the sidebar. Change it in Settings and press Save name. Your email address is shown but cannot be changed from here.

Sign-in methods

Email and password

Requires email verification before the account is usable. Password resets are emailed on request.

Magic link

A one-time sign-in link, valid for five minutes. No password involved.

Google

Sign in with Google. An existing account on the same email address is linked automatically rather than duplicated.
All three land you in the same account as long as the email address matches, so you can start with a password and switch to magic links later without losing anything.

Sessions

Brewgravity uses cookie-based sessions. On a shared or borrowed computer, sign out when you are done rather than just closing the tab.
